Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of HCP Marketing, this hire will play a key role in HCP marketing activities in the US for our current and future ultra rare disease breakthrough therapies.

The Associate Director of HCP Marketing will be responsible for driving the implementation and execution of HCP marketing activities in support of NS Pharma’s objectives and growth plan. This person will be responsible for the implementation of disease state education and promotional materials for the sales force and non-personal channels. They will be responsible for ensuring strong cross-functional alignment in the seamless execution of strategy and promotional tactics working in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally to develop the Annual Brand Plan and budgeting process.
  • Partner with the Field and Commercial Operations to execute against prioritized HCP segmentation, and align marketing messages, tactics, and resources against HCP segments;
  • Ensure timely and efficient review of promotional materials through collaboration with medical, legal and regulatory colleagues
  • Contribute to successful activities at national society and congress meetings; support sales force in the execution of local/regional society and HCP educational events.
  • Effectively partner and manage external partners including creative, AOR, media, digital; accountable for project timelines and budgets; ensures budget aligns with planned annual spend.
  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with key cross-functional partners, including PRC, Legal, Compliance, Patient Marketing, Patient Services, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Sales, and others, as appropriate.
  • Support National Commercial Meeting and any regional sales meetings as needed.
  • Contribute to strategic development and execution of the brand initiatives.
  • Distill key market trends and acute awareness of the competitive environment
  • Leverage market insights and research to drive growth and strategic direction.
  • At all times, ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws and corporate policies.

Qualifications

  • This individual will have experience in HCP marketing of rare/ultra rare products.

Education and/or Experience

  • BS/BA degree in scientific or business discipline and 7+ years of strong marketing experience in pharmaceuticals required
  • Experience successfully developing HCP marketing content that simply and concisely communicates complex, scientifically nuanced concepts; oversee internal review process and pull through across multiple tactical mediums
  • Experience managing outside agencies (creative, digital, and media) and internal teams to execute brand and strategic marketing direction.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate, prioritize and execute multiple projects simultaneously with keen attention to detail.
  • Comfortable designing relevant campaign KPIs and closely monitoring performance.
  • Success in evaluating key business / scientific challenges
  • History of collaboration across departments to deliver complex initiatives having cross-functional impact.
  • Experience in hospital/IDN-based products and launching complex treatments
  • Knowledge of infusion products
